Jurassic World: Apatosaurs Comes To Oculus Home

Jurassic World

Previously thought to be an exclusive at Best Buy, GearVR.uk can reveal that Felix and Paul Studios’ virtual reality (VR) app on the Samsung Gear VR smart phone-based head-mounted display (HMD) for new feature film Jurassic World, the latest in the Jurassic Park franchise, is now on general release.

Added to the Oculus Home store for Gear VR, the now fully titled Jurassic World: Apatosaurs takes users for a close encounter with a living, breathing dinosaur ‘with the mixture of awe, striking beauty and danger that this implies.’

VRFocus recently posted the first screenshots from the app one of which you can find below.

  1. I got the chance to this out yesterday and whilst initially when the dinosaur wasn’t moving the graphics looked noticeably palliated, as soon and it saw me and got up and started to walk towards me that was the first time i actually felt like it was a real thing moving towards me. Great experience. Would love a full game to be made like this!!
