Developer Stress Level Zero has followed up on its recently first announced virtual reality (VR) videogame with its first VR videogame release – but it isn’t what people were possibly expecting.
The developer had previously revealed virtual reality (VR) title Hover Junkers for the HTC Vive as being in development. However, this week the studio unveiled Look Both Ways, a new first-person title for the Gear VR mobile head-mounted display (HMD).
The player is cast as a character that must abandon their broken-down car and, driven by hunger, cross a dangerous set of roads to get some much needed food, in essence it is a human version of classic arcade title Frogger. It is available now, compatible with both the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S6 although it is possible that a future announcement at a forthcomign Samsung event may reveal additional phone platforms.
GearVR.uk will be following up with any further information that we can get on the title and its developers.
