Oculus VR are set to offer public demonstrations of their mobile virtual reality (VR) device, the Gear VR, at PAX Prime later this week and today have revealed the full software line-up available to play. The consumer version of the Oculus Rift will also be at the show and requires the booking of an appointment to get hands-on with, but the Gear VR will be open to all each day of the event.
The PAX Prime line-up mirrors that on show at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Los Angeles, back in June and Gamescom, Cologne, last month. Featured titles, as listed on Oculus VR’s own Guidebook application for Android and iOS devices, include Anshar Wars 2, Climax Studios’ Bandit Six: Salvo, Herobound: Spirit Champion, Square Enix’s VR debut Hitman GO, Shironeko and the recently released Omega Agent.
Herobound: Spirit Champion and Omega Agent are already available for both the Note 4 and Galaxy S6 editions of the Gear VR, with Bandit Six: Salvo and Anshar Wars 2 currently expected to launch alongside the consumer version of the Gear VR hardware later this year.
